Blackburn keen on Franco Di Santo

Blackburn have stepped up their interest in Chelsea striker Franco Di Santo.

Boss Sam Allardyce fancies the 20-year-old Argentine and hopes to agree a cutprice deal with Blues gaffer Carlo Ancelotti.

"I don't know what's happening with Di Santo," said Allardyce.

"I'd have thought Ancelotti would look at all his players first. We would be interested in anybody from Chelsea if the price is right for us."
