Blackburn plan £5m raid for Liverpool's Jermaine Pennant

Blackburn are planning a £5million move for Jermaine Pennant to replace Tottenham-bound David Bentley.
Rovers are ready to act quickly when Bentley's £17million move goes through and manager Paul Ince wants Pennant to fill the gap on the right.
Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez is willing to let Pennant go to fund his bid for Valencia's David Silva.
But he will want closer to the £6.7m he paid Birmingham for former Arsenal winger Pennant two years ago.
That fee could prove a sticking point with Rovers reluctant to pay too much up front, preferring to pay in instalments.
