New manager Paul Ince has certainly had a busy first few weeks at Blackburn, the vast majority of his time seemingly spent rejecting bids from other clubs for his playing staff.
Mirror.co.uk reported this morning that the club had rebuffed Newcastle's £2m offer for defender Stephen Warnock - who only joined Rovers 18 months ago himself.
And now Blackburn chairman John Williams has revealed approaches for Dutch international Andre Ooijer and England winger David Bentley have also been turned down.
"We have received a bid from Panathinaikos [for Ooijer] but I have made it clear Andre is not for sale," he said.
Tottenham's bid for David Bentley - believed to be less than Aston Villa's, which was also rejected last minute - has been given similarly short thrift.
"We have had bids from two clubs," said Williams.
"One came in when Mark Hughes was manager, the other was fairly recent.
"They have both been rejected.''
Williams also hinted that there might be a player coming the other way in the near future.
"We are making progress with an international midfielder," he said.
"We have had a number of discussions but there is still some work to do."
Speculation is rife that the midfielder in question is Chilean wonderkid Carlos Villanueva .
