Blackburn target Chelsea striker Franco Di Santo

Sam Allardyce has targeted Chelsea striker Franco Di Santo after being quoted £9m for Zenit St Petersburg's Pavel Pogrebnyak.
The Blackburn boss believes that Zenit's asking price is too high for a player who has just one year left on his contract and hopes he can tempt Di Santo, who scored in Chelsea's 2-0 win over Club America, with a season-long loan deal and the promise of regular first-team football.
Allardyce is also interested in Tottenham right-back Pascal Chimbonda.
The defender, 30, was brought back to White Hart Lane from Sunderland by Harry Redknapp in January, but has struggled to make an impact and could be on the way out again.
