Bluebirds winding up order dismissed

Cardiff City will not be charged for the winding-up order brought against them by the Inland Revenue last month.
The club were given 70 days to settle an unpaid tax bill of £1.2million, on 25 November, the day that Malaysian businessman Datuk Chan Tien Ghee joined the club's board. The club have since come to an agreement with Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs and the winding-up order has now been dismissed.
A statement on the club's official website said: "We can confirm that the High Court has formally dismissed the winding-up order that had previously been brought by HMRC. This was as a result of amicable discussions between the Club and HMRC. We are grateful for their co-operation and support."
