Bolton bid £5million for Jimmy Bullard

Bolton boss Gary Megson is closing in on Fulham's Jimmy Bullard after tabling a £5million bid for the midfielder.
Megson has turned to Bullard after failing to land Newcastle's Joey Barton or West Brom's James Morrison.
Bullard is unsettled at Craven Cottage and manager Roy Hodgson admits they cannot meet the 29-year-old's wage demands. Megson has also had Brazil star Denilson on trial but said: "Denilson has been an absolute credit but we won't be taking it any further."
And Megson will attempt to steal a march on former club West Brom by signing Benfica striker Ariza Makukula on loan.
The Portuguese, 27, has had a medical with Albion but Bolton want to hijack the deal.
