Arsenal have tied up a deal for Bordeaux's Marouane Chamakh after the Moroccan striker agreed a pre-contract and will join this summer on a five-year contract worth £50,000-a-week.

Bordeaux president Jean-Louis Triaud confirmed Mirror Sport's exclusive that Chamakh is set to leave with Arsenal his preferred destination.
Triaud said: "It is sometimes said that there is no smoke without fire. This is a blaze. It seems strange that so many sources are consistent."
Chamakh is out of contract at Bordeaux this summer and is a free agent. He snubbed Liverpool to join Arsenal who have been chasing him since last April.
Meanwhile, Wenger has gone cool on BSK Borca's Montenegrin defender Stefan Savic, 19, who has been on trial at the club.
But Arsenal do not want to pay £2m and he went home without playing specially arranged behind-closed-doors friendly.
