Madjid Bougherra has played down his bust-up with Rangers team-mate Kenny Miller, insisting he has no problem with anyone at the club.
Algeria defender Bougherra and Scotland striker Miller were involved in a training-ground clash last week. It followed criticism from Miller over Bougherra returning late from international duty for the third time this season.
Asked if their argument was the result of Miller's criticism, Bougherra said: "Not at all. We certainly had an altercation but this happens all the time at clubs across the world."
He added: "I want the Algerian people to know I have no problem with anyone in Glasgow, let alone coach Walter Smith, who still counts on me.
"Up until now, I decided not to speak on the subject, out of respect for my club who had just been eliminated from the Champions League and did not need this kind of problem, especially at this time.
"But we remain in the cups and the championship and they are very important to the fans. To change clubs at this time of year would be disruptive."
Meanwhile, on-loan Paris St Germain winger Jerome Rothen says he did not contract swine flu.
Rothen returned to Paris after displaying symptoms of the virus.
He told the Daily Record: "When I got back from Scotland, I was coughing and had a fever.
"I asked the PSG doctor to come and see me but I have definitely not had swine flu."
