Liverpool look to have finally landed Middlesbrough's Brad Jones after a £2.5million bid was accepted.
The Reds have been tracking the keeper, who would qualify as a "home grown" player under the new Premier League rules, since Roy Hodgson took over at Anfield back in July.
They initially had a bid of £1.5million turned down, with Boro hoping to hold out for £3million, but a deal has now been struck and Jones is expected to sign with the Merseyside giants within the next few days.
More to follow.
