Burnley 3-0 Derby: Paterson double sinks Rams

Martin Paterson is hoping his matching winning double has done enough to secure him a spot in Burnley's side for tomorrow's glamour clash with Arsenal.
Hitman Paterson had been dumped on the bench for five league games after boss Owen Coyle noticed a touch of fatigue in his play.
But he came on and netted twice at Barnsley a week ago and followed up with another double as the Rams were destroyed at Turf Moor.
And his goals, along with Kevin McDonald's opener, were enough to leave Paul Jewell acknowledging this was a return to the bad old days of last year for Derby.
Paterson, 21, said: "The gaffer took me out for a bit and it has worked. That is another little bit of cleverness from him.
"His man-management and experience has shown through again. I didn't feel fatigued but sometimes as a young lad you don't have the experience to know that you are tired.
"The gaffer has looked at the games and thought I was tired. I have notched up a lot of games so far this season so maybe the break has worked.
"I was angry that I was not playing and I kept working hard. Hopefully I have done enough to keep my shirt."
There's little chance of Coyle leaving him out as Burnley look to add Arsenal to a list of prized Carling Cup scalps that already includes Fulham and Chelsea.
And Paterson fired a warning to the Gunners that there is a real belief another upset is on the cards at Turf Moor
He added: "We are not there to take people's shirts. We are there to get into the semi-final of the Carling Cup."
Paterson twice benefited from poor defending as Chris Eagles drilled balls into the six-yard area for him to net identical strikes.
That came after Kevin McDonald sparked the early salvo with a volley as Burnley were three goals up in 23 minutes.
