Burnley bid for Scotland striker Steven Fletcher

Burnley boss Owen Coyle has made a record £2.75million bid for Hibs and Scotland striker Steven Fletcher.
The Premier League new boys face stiff competition from Celtic for the player who is valued at £4m by the Edinburgh club.
Fletcher has been linked with Parkhead since his old Hibs boss Tony Mowbray took charge last week. But Coyle has thundered in with the best offer Hibs have had so far.
Coyle has been handed a tight budget to survive in the top flight and he is willing to plunge a big chunk of it into signing Fletcher.
The Burnley boss is also ready to snap up Newcastle centre-half David Edgar as well as Derby right-back Tyrone Mears for £400,000.
