Burnley have completed the signing of defender Brian Easton from Hamilton for a £350,000 fee plus incentives.
The Scotland Under-21 international has agreed a three-year deal, the Barclays Premier League newcomers have confirmed.
Easton is manager Owen Coyle's fourth signing of the summer and joins record buy Steven Fletcher, David Edgar and Tyrone Mears at Turf Moor.
Easton made his debut for Scotland's under-21 side against Northern Ireland in November 2008 then represented the B side when they faced the province.
He took the step up in his stride and went on to become a first-team regular, making 102 appearances.
Easton helped Hamilton win promotion to the top flight and was rewarded with a new three-year contract in May 2008.
However, the lure of English football proved to be too great and he will wear the number 24 shirt at Burnley. ember 2008 then represented the B side when they faced the province.
