Owen Coyle is flying in French speedster Fabrice Pancrate for transfer talks with Premier League new boys Burnley.
Pancrate, 29, is a free agent after leaving Paris Saint-Germain and the strapping right-winger wants to show Coyle that he could be a useful addition to his squad.
The far-travelled star has also been on loan at Real Betis and Sochaux during his time at PSG but he would like to come to England to prove his worth.
Burnley's record buy Steven Fletcher revealed he is sure he made the right choice when he signed for Coyle - and did not wait for Tony Mowbray's Celtic.
Scotland star Fletcher, who has claimed the No.9 shirt at the Clarets, was talked into the £3million deal from Hibs by Coyle while the Glasgow giants dithered.
Fletcher, 22, said: "I felt right about it when I met the gaffer. His enthusiasm for football and the way he wants to play impressed me.
"I knew right away that this was the club to join."
"I watched Burnley's play-off final on TV with Gary Caldwell, whose brother Steven is the skipper here. There are some good players here."
