Paul Caddis helped Celtic stage a thrilling Europa League comeback against Rapid Vienna at the Ernst Happel Stadium and then revealed he will again consider his long-term future at the club.
The Scotland Under-21 player, who recently signed a one-year extension to his deal which was due to expire next summer, was handed a rare start as replacement for regular right-back Andreas Hinkel.
Caddis, who has been out on loan at Dundee United in the past, said: "I have spoken to the manager about getting out on loan and he said he will see what he can do."
He added: "It's hard for him because he needs players because of the under-21 rule [teams have to have three in each matchday squad] so if that's what I'm there for then that's what I have to be there for.
"But I am 21 and I need to go and try to play some games and we will see what happens in January.
"I will sit down with my agent and the manager and see what my options are.
"But I have to keep working hard in training and I can't complain because Andreas Hinkel is playing so well and has created a lot of goals."
