Cardiff duo Joe Ledley and Ross McCormack will cost Hull more than £7m

Cardiff boss Dave Jones has warned Hull City they won't get Joe Ledley and Ross McCormack on the cheap.

Jones is unimpressed by Hull's mooted £7million joint bid for Wales midfielder Ledley and Scotland striker McCormack. Jones spoke to Tigers boss Phil Brown at Cardiff's friendly against Celtic on Wednesday and said: "If Phil wants any players and the price is right, there isn't a problem.

"But if the price isn't right, we won't sell. Joe Ledley has a year left on his contract. "Why should that make him any cheaper? We were offered £6m. Why should his value have gone down?"
