Cardiff set to hijack Coventry's bid for Wolves striker

Cardiff boss Dave Jones is ready to hijack Coventry’s bid to sign Wolves striker Sam Vokes.

Coventry had agreed a deal to sign Wales international Vokes on loan last week but want to complete the switch on Thursday.

And Jones is now battling to capitalise on the delay and sign the 19-year-old to boost his Bluebirds’ firepower.
