Carling Cup: West Ham 4-1 Macclesfield (aet) - Hammered Curbs to battle on

Alan Curbishley admitted he faces a struggle to win over the West Ham boo-boys after being taunted throughout last night's clash.
The Hammers boss cut a forlorn figure on the touchline as his side produced another abject display against the League Two side before going on to win in extra-time.
And the Upton Park faithful left Curbishley in little doubt of their disgust, singing "You're getting sacked in the morning" at their beleaguered boss in the home dug-out.
With his team trailing and £5million summer signing Valon Behrami forced out the game with a tooth injury, the curses rained down.
But the 50-year-old insists he will not shy away from the barracking despite only managing an unconvincing win against a side without a win or single goal in League Two so far this season.
"I've had this for a little while, I'll get on with it, I'm a big boy," said the under-fire Curbishley.
"We need to win some games and play better football. I understand the responsibility of being West Ham manager. I've watched games at Upton Park and other managers here have had similar criticism. You have to get on with it, it's part and parcel that fans let you know when they are not happy.
"I'm not going to duck away from it. I've got the full backing of the board. During the run-in last season our fans were on another level, they were fantastic, and we have to give them a bit more.
"The disappointing thing is the players are the ones who have to go out and perform.
"The fans are brilliant when they are behind us and they have to realise the effect it has when they are not behind us.
It can all change at the weekend. It has happened to other managers and happened a bit last year.
"The only thing that is unfair is that we stayed up and finished 10th with all sorts of problems. That's the only thing I can comment on." Despite the margin of victory, it was not until Izak Reid was sent off in injurytime that West Ham looked to have the measure of a side sitting 88th in the Football League.
Carlton Cole, Zavon Hines and Kyel Reid all found the net in extra-time as Macclesfield fell apart but the home faithful were not fooled by yet another poor display.
Curbishley got out of jail after Lee Bowyer headed home a 74th-minute equaliser to cancel out Gareth Evans fifth-minute opener and send the tie into extra-time.
And despite his side eventually cruising through extra-time, the West Ham boss said he expected far more from his players after their 3-0 defeat at Manchester City last weekend.
"I didn't expect to be trailing against Macclesfield but you can't hide," he added.
"It turned into a tricky cuptie, Macclesfield scored early and got behind the ball and asked us to break them down and we couldn't do that.
"It became frustrating but I was confident we would get back into it. It dragged on a bit. We made it more tricky than it should have been."
