Carlos Tevez brands Sir Alex Ferguson a liar

Carlos Tevez completed his defection across Manchester last night and reignited his feud with Sir Alex Ferguson - branding his old boss a liar.
Just 24 hours after Fergie said Tevez had ignored his calls and texts of an offer to stay at United, City's new £25million man insisted there was no truth in the claims.
"It's time Alex Ferguson and David Gill took responsibility for the fact I've joined City because they didn't want to offer me a contract and keep me," said Tevez.
"Over two years the only time Ferguson contacted me was once after a game against Roma. To expect his text message to be returned is out of the question when somebody doesn't talk to you or contact you over two years .
"I don't think that's the way to treat a player who has been at your club for two years .
"There was no line of communication at all. United didn't do enough to keep me there. If it was down to the fans, I would still be there.
"The first thing United fans have to understand is that part of my heart will always be with them. They made me feel good, even when I didn't play.
"But I'm a professional so I have to think as a professional.
"This is a new chapter in my life and a new challenge, and I'm focusing on that."
Tevez signed a five-year City deal worth £ 150,000 a week and, in a further swipe at Fergie, claimed he was happy to play for a manager who wanted him in Mark Hughes.
He said: "Having a coach that wants me and wants me to play, a good fan base and an environment in which I'm happy, these are the most important things to me."
