Envious Cesc Fabregas last night admitted he is "jealous" of the English clubs still battling for Champions League glory.
The Arsenal midfielder is still haunted by their agonising quarter-final exit at the hands of Liverpool.
And as the Reds, Chelsea and Manchester United face 48 hours which will decide which of them travel to Moscow next month, the Spaniard is brooding..
Fabregas, the PFA Young Player of the Year, said: "I will be feeling very jealous when I watch Barcelona at Manchester United and the game between Chelsea and Liverpool.
"That is natural. I wanted Arsenal to be involved, and we're not and that is disappointing. I really want to be in their position right now.
"It is disappointing how we were leading the Premier League and then lost our way.
"We were there for a big part of the season, but I still think we are improving."
