Championship footballer charged with conspiracy to rape

A Championship footballer has been charged with false imprisonment and conspiracy to rape a teenager.

Former Millwall star Ali Fuseini, 21, who has been training with Leeds United, was allegedly with two friends who gave the girl a lift. She says she was raped as two men watched.

The footballer, of Catford, South-East London, appeared before Tower Bridge magistrates this week. The other two men faced court in May. The case was sent to crown court.
