Charlton set to offload strike star to Hearts

Cash-strapped Charlton hope to ease their crippling wage bill by offloading Izale McLeod to Hearts.
Addicks striker McLeod, 25, was signed from MK Dons in August 2007 for £1.1million and is one of the League One club’s top earners.
But the forward has scored only three times this term and is now due for a trial with Scottish club Hearts.
The SPL side then intend to sign the striker and he could make his debut in the Edinburgh derby against Hibernian on January 3.
