Ched Evans to join Sheffield United next week

Striker Ched Evans will complete his £1.5million switch from Manchester City to Sheffield United next week.
City's capture of Arsenal hitman Emmanuel Adebayor for £22m yesterday effectively freed Evans to quit Eastlands for Bramall Lane.
Blades boss Kevin Blackwell has been chasing the Wales international since the end of last season, and now he is on the brink of snaring Evans, 20, on a four-year deal worth £20,000-a-week.
Rhyl-born Evans has become a victim of Hughes's lavish summer spending spree and has been told by Sparky that he does not figure in his long-term plans.
Evans, who notched 10 goals in 28 games on loan at Norwich two seasons ago, scored just once in 16 senior outings for the Citizens.
