John Terry and Luis Suarez backed an anti-racism campaign by wearing t-shirts bearing the "One Game, One Community" slogan ahead of the Premier League match at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
The Chelsea captain and the Liverpool striker wore the shirts as they warmed up before the Reds 2-1 win at the Blues stadium.
The pair are at the centre of two different racism rows, with Terry accused of using racially abusive language towards QPR defender Anton Ferdinand, while Suarez has been charged by the FA with racially abusing Manchester United defender Patrice Evra at Anfield last month.
Both players deny the claims.
