Chelsea get Cech injury boost

Petr Cech is set to give Chelsea a major fitness boost by making an early return from injury.
The Blues keeper was facing a lengthy lay-off with a calf injury sustained in the Champions League defeat at Inter Milan a fortnight ago.
Cech is still struggling to be ready for the return leg with Inter on Tuesday but is hoping to be back ahead of schedule and ready for Chelsea’s Premier League title run-in, starting at Blackburn on March 21.
It will be a huge boost for Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti, who has seen reserve keeper Hilario make a string of errors in Cech’s absence, particularly in the home defeat by Manchester City.
Ancelotti cannot get Cech back quickly enough to boost his team’s run-in, while Ashley Cole is also expected to return to the club from a specialist in France early next week to continue his rehabilitation after ankle surgery.
