Chelsea make £4million move for Serbian striker

Serbian youngster Nemanja Matic is set to become Carlo Ancelottti’s fourth Chelsea signing in a £4million deal.
Chelsea have agreed the fee with the striker’s club Kosice and are hopeful of concluding the move by next Monday.
Middlesbrough were also interested in the 20-year-old and could promise the Serbian youth international an earlier taste of first team football.
But while Chelsea will initially put Matic in their reserve ranks rather than include him in Ancelotti’s first team squad, the player has agreed to the switch with only the fine details to be concluded.
