Chelsea ready to snap up wonder kid Jonjo Shelvey from Charlton

Chelsea are favourites to sign Charlton's £3million kid Jonjo Shelvey.

The England Youth midfielder, 17, (left) has also been watched by Arsenal, West Ham, Tottenham and Newcastle since breaking into the Charlton first team.

Chelsea are also close to signing Boro keeper Ross Turnbull, 24, to add to their "homegrown" quota and will sign CSKA Moscow playmaker Yuri Zhirkov for £18m on Monday.
