Chelsea send top agent to bag Andrea Pirlo

Carlo Ancelotti hopes to land Andrea Pirlo from former club AC Milan after sending Roman Abramovich's senior transfer emissary, Serbian agent Vlado Lemic, on a mission to the San Siro side.

Chelsea are struggling to land their prime targets, but Italy playmaker Pirlo - likely to cost no more than £8million - would represent a significant arrival.
