Roman Abramovich is giving Spartak Moscow a helping hand in the Russian club's bid to dent Tottenham's UEFA Cup hopes.
Chelsea's billionaire owner has rolled out the red carpet for his fellow countrymen to train at the Blues' Cobham base. Spartak and Spurs meet next week with a place in the knockout stages on the minds of both teams.
Spartak are in the fourth week of their winter shutdown and will play Chelsea's reserves on Saturday.
Spartak defender Roman Shishkin said last night: "We must win to get into the last 32 of the UEFA Cup. We need to end the year perfectly."
