Chelsea to make fresh move for AC Milan's Andrea Pirlo

Chelsea are ready to make a fresh move for AC Milan midfielder Andrea Pirlo.

New boss Carlo Ancelotti is keen to work with the Italian international again - and is ready to use misfit striker Claudio Pizarro in a £10million player-plus-cash deal.

Ancelotti wants more midfielders for a new diamond system next season and his former general at Milan fits the bill.
