John Sheridan is ready to replace axed Lee Richardson as Chesterfield manager.
Sheridan - sacked by Oldham in March - is wanted by the new money men coming into Saltergate.
He could be joined by Tommy Wright, his ex-No.2, who rejected an offer to stay from new boss Dave Penney and will quit Boundary Park..
