Chimbonda escapes FA rap after Rodriguez clash

Pascal Chimbonda has had a huge let-off for his high tackle on Liverpool's Maxi Rodriguez.

The Blackburn full-back was on a yellow card when he caught Rodriguez in the chest with his studs during Rovers' 2-1 defeat at Anfield on Sunday, but escaped a sending off.

The FA have spoken to referee Alan Wiley and have decided to take no action against the Frenchman.
