Collins back with Swans

Wycombe manager Gary Waddock has decided to end his interest in Matty Collins.

The Swansea midfielder featured in the 3-1 friendly win over Hayes & Yeading at the weekend, but there was no place for him in the squad as the Chairboys claimed a 1-1 draw at Brentford on Tuesday evening.

Collins has now returned to Swansea, and Waddock told Chairboys Player: "He played Saturday and it was a case of looking at the players that we've already got in here and we're pleased with what we've got.

"And with a new manager (Brendan Rodgers) going in at Swansea, I just said to him 'for me you're better off going in there, saying hello to him and seeing what happens from there'.

"But as it stands at the moment we won't be taking it any further."
