Peterborough manager Mark Cooper has pledged to win over a doubting public by delivering success to London Road.
Reaction has been mixed to Cooper's appointment as replacement for Darren Ferguson but he is confident of delivering results.
He told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph: "It was the same when I was appointed at Kettering. Fans were sceptical at first but we enjoyed some good results and opinions changed."
He added "That's what it's all about - getting results. I can't guarantee Posh fans results will instantly improve but I can promise them that me, my staff and the players will do everything we can to try and make it happen.
"There is no doubt I have inherited some quality players here and I honestly can't see us making too many changes. A tweak here and there is all they need in my opinion.
"I'm certainly looking forward to the challenge, as we all are."
