Marlon King is released from prison on Thursday determined to rekindle his professional playing career.
The fallen star, 30, has kept in shape behind bars training twice a day to work on his fitness.
And the former Wigan striker now has a clutch of Championship clubs after his services.
Coventry boss Aidy Boothroyd successfully managed King at Watford and is favourite for his signature.
King's long-term agent Tony Finnigan told Mirror Sport: "Marlon has told me he is ready to resume his football career.
"He has a good goal-scoring record and a lot of experience to offer any willing club.
"But Aidy will have the edge because they have worked very well together in the past."
King was jailed last October for assaulting a woman in December 2008.
