Celtic £70k short for Bellamy loan

Celtic are only willing to pay Manchester City £1 million to take unwanted man Craig Bellamy on loan for a season.
The SPL club hope to bring the fiery Welshman back to the club for a second spell, but they are miles short in their attempt to get him back.
Bellamy is on around £90,000-a-week at City - where he will be out of Roberto Mancini’s plans this season - and Celtic’s package means they would just be giving them £20,000-a-week.
City would be happy to see unsettled Bellamy leave for the SPL but the player is reluctant to move there either - and prefers joining Tottenham and chasing glory in the Champions League.
Spurs have been blocked in their attempts so far because City are not keen to strengthen a rival, but they could yet get their man before the window shuts.
The alternative is that Bellamy sits it out beyond the end of the month and makes a switch to his beloved Cardiff City who could take him on loan once the Championship ‘window’ re-opens after that.
