Credit crunch and Kaka fee will devastate Premier League, warns Arsene Wenger

Arsene Wenger fears the credit crunch could devastate the Premier League next season. The Arsenal boss said yesterday fans will not be able to renew season tickets because of the recession and claimed that Manchester City's £108m bid for Kaka could destabilise football.
His warning follows a Football Supporters' Federation survey this week that showed up to a third of fans will not renew their season tickets next season.
Wenger said: "Every day England loses 3,000 jobs. You think that has no consequence on our game? It will have. You can hide behind Man City buying Kaka for £108m. But that is an exception.
"We are living in the real world and Manchester City are not."
Wenger feels clubs should live within their means.
He added: "The rules allow it so you cannot say it is cheating. It is unfair competition maybe, but not cheating."
