Crewe 4-0 Hull: Mendy in a spot of bother

Bernard Mendy had a first-half horror show as Premier League new boys Hull lost 4-0 to League One Crewe.
The ex-Bolton man, who joined on a free transfer from Paris St Germain in the summer, was at fault for two goals, including conceding a penalty, and also missed from the spot.
Calvin Zola netted a first-half treble and Nicky Maynard got the other.
"Bernard was having a tough time," said Hull boss Phil Brown.
