Cristiano Ronaldo on course for new clash with Fergie

Cristiano Ronaldo is on a fresh collision course with Sir Alex Ferguson over the date of his return to Manchester for recuperation from recent ankle surgery.
Fergie wants Ronaldo back on July 28. The United manager is also keen to speak face-to-face with his want-away star to try to end speculation surrounding Ronaldo's future.
But Portugal national team physio Antonio Gaspar, claimed the Real Madrid target will not return to Manchester until August 4 at the earliest.
"These first four weeks he will do the rehabilitation work in my clinic in Lisbon," Gaspar said. "After the first month, the United doctors will carry out another exam."
Old Trafford chiefs denied claims yesterday they had agreed a £28m deal with Spurs for Dimitar Berbatov.
United are unwilling to go above £25m, given the 27-year-old striker would have little sell-on value come the end of his United career.
