Croatia striker Nikola Kalinic could be off to Blackburn for £6m

Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce is ready to hijack Croatia striker Nikola Kalinic - and snap him up in a £6million-plus deal in their biggest swoop of the summer.
Allardyce has started talks with the hitman and his club Hajduk Split and hopes to complete the deal quickly - just a day after Kalinic walked out on a move to Portsmouth.
Kalinic, 21, is due to return to Croatia today to play for Hajduk at the weekend, but Rovers hope they can get him to sign a four-year deal.
Hajduk are willing to take the cash and are fuming that Pompey could not back up their interest.
