Administrator: I'd love P Diddy to buy Palace

Crystal Palace’s administrator has welcomed interest from P-Diddy after the rapper’s spokesman confirmed he could buy the club.

Brendan Guilfoyle, in charge of the bankrupt club’s finances, a self-confessed hip-hop fan, said: “I would willingly fly to New York to meet him to discuss a purchase.

“I would be delighted if P-Diddy wanted to buy Crystal Palace. I would welcome the opportunity to speak to him. Hopefully, he will be in contact shortly.”

P-Diddy is reported to be worth about £360m. He was in the UK earlier this month one a visit where he discussed the possibility of investing in Palace.
