Ipswich boss Roy Keane is making a £1m bid for QPR's Ireland left-back Damien Delaney.
The pair both hail from Cork and Delaney fancies the transfer after his move to London from Hull failed to work out as he wanted.
Keane is looking to land seven or eight new faces, with Manchester United forward Lee Martin also on his wish list if the price is right.
