David Beckham urges Ronaldo to stay at Man United

David Beckham last night urged Cristiano Ronaldo to stay at Manchester United.
The England star was lured from Old Trafford to Real Madrid five years ago.
But Becks insists that Portugal ace Ronaldo would be better off snubbing a potential world record offer from the Spanish giants - as he has a better chance of success in Manchester.
Ronaldo is Real's top transfer target this summer after helping the Red Devils win the Premier League and Champions League and Beckham reckons he is the best player in the world.
He said: "All I'm going to say to him is congratulations on an amazing season. I'm sure he'll be crowned World Player of the Year and he deserves it.
"He's at the right club and a club he should stay at because as much as Real Madrid are a great team and one of the biggest clubs in the world, he's only just starting at Man United, he's only been there a few years.
"He's got a lot of people around him who will protect him. As a fan of Man United I hope he stays there, but who knows?"
Becks' advice came as Real president Ramon Calderon refused a request from United to rule out ever making a move for the winger.
However, Calderon has conceded he is unlikely to sign the 23-year-old this summer.
He said: "At the moment it seems impossible for him to come. We shouldn't talk about Ronaldo any more.
"It's an aspiration which has no chance - his club have said they are not selling."
