Davies: Player chat prompted turnaround

Kevin Davies has revealed how a candid meeting of the Bolton players following defeat at Wolves brought about the recent mini-revival.
Gary Megson's side have drawn with Manchester City and beaten West Ham since slipping to a 2-1 reverse against their relegation rivals at Molineux - their fifth defeat in six games in all competitions.
Wanderers striker Davies said: "After losing at Wolves I sensed a massive change. I had a meeting with the boys. I said 'we're in this position and we're the ones that got us into it, so we're the ones who will get us out of it. We are not going to hide behind managers, hide behind formations'."
He added: "A few said a few things and it showed in the performances. It's only because people care."
Bolton moved out of the bottom three with the win over the Hammers and Davies added: "We had to stand up and be responsible for where we are."
