Debate: Who will be the best strike partnership in the Premier League next season?

Arsenal's Robin van Persie issued a warning to defenders this morning , claiming that his partnership with Emmanuel Adebayor will be the most lethal in the Premier League this season.

With the likes of Robbie Keane and Fernando Torres, Wayne Rooney and Carlos Tevez, Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka, and Dimitar Berbatov and Darren Bent set to line up together next season, the competition will certainly be fierce.

And then, of course, there's Portsmouth's new little and large combo Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe, while West Ham will be hoping Dean Ashton and Craig Bellamy will strike up an understanding on the pitch rather than in the treatment room next time out.

And don't forget John Carew and Gabriel Agbonlahor over at Villa Park, and Jo and Benjani Mwaruwari at Eastlands.
