St Johnstone striker Kenny Deuchar hopes the club can build on back-to-back wins to ensure they are looking up the table rather than down in the weeks ahead.
The Perth outfit followed up Saturday's late 2-1 victory at Falkirk with another triumph against a disappointing Aberdeen on Tuesday night.
The 29-year-old said: "We are delighted. That is what we were aiming for, two wins on the bounce. It's great and it looks positive for the rest of the season. It's a nice feeling."
He added: "It's always nice coming into training having had a win and obviously, after two wins on the bounce now, the place will be buzzing when we come back in.
"I think at some point in the season you have got to put a run together and hopefully we can go on now, have a bit of a run and get some more points on the board.
"The manager has said we have not reached the points total that he set out at the start of the season, one he thought would keep us up. We've just got to keep working hard."
St Johnstone are now the highest scorers in the league outside the Old Firm, netting 42 goals from their 27 games. They have also scored in their last 12 league matches in a row.
Deuchar has played his part after arriving from Hamilton last summer and is eager to continue the club's form at Celtic on Saturday.
He added: "We just need to look at the next game, obviously it's a massive match, everybody wants to play at Parkhead. Then we have another important one against Falkirk next midweek, that is the really important one.
"The manager has said all season everybody will play their part and boys who have maybe not played as much have come in lately and done a great job for us. The last two wins have been great back to back."
