Didier Drogba not on Jose Mourinho's Milan shopping list

Didier Drogba's dream of being reunited with Jose Mourinho has been hit by the revelation that the new Inter Milan boss is not chasing more strikers.
But the Chelsea forward could still be heading for Italy, with AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti - who rebuffed the Blues' advances to fill their managerial vacancy - determined to land him.
So much so, he has extracted a commitment from new club president Adriano Galliani that they will do everything they can to sign the Ivory Coast star.
Mourinho took charge at Inter this week and gave technical director Marco Branca a list of transfer targets. And while Branca predicted "long negotiations" before any deals could be struck with Stamford Bridge, he said Chelsea players should make public their desire to join their former manager.
But the ex-Middlesbrough player insisted forwards Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Mario Balotelli would not be leaving.
And with Hernan Crespo, Adriano and Julio Cruz still on Inter's books, the new coach's priorities lie elsewhere.
"Mourinho has not asked us for any strikers," Branca said.
"There will only be a few arrivals, we already have an excellent squad. Mourinho hasn't asked for many things - two or three players at the most."
Frank Lampard, who has only a year left on his contract at Chelsea, is one candidate while Mourinho would like to bring in Ricardo Carvalho and Michael Essien.
"It's always much better if those players want to leave," Branca added. "But clubs want to keep their big players.
"There's a list. We will do whatever is possible to please Mourinho but we have to see what the costs are.
"We have to wait because there are going to be long negotiations until we get to the right price.
"If there is a player to get from Chelsea, they will decide the price."
Galliani yesterday said his club could still do business with Chelsea this summer - though not over Ancelotti or Brazil star Kaka.
"Yesterday I spoke to Peter Kenyon," said Galliani.
"We spoke about players. We spoke about Shevchenko, we spoke about Drogba. We spoke about a lot of players. There are certainly good relations with Chelsea.
"But Kaka and Ancelotti will both be with Milan next season. There is no chance he will leave Milan - Ancelotti will be coach of Milan next season."
Mourinho's former club Porto have been banned from next season's Champions League for allegedly bribing referees during the season they won the competition.
Although Mourinho was in charge in 2003-04, he has not been mentioned during the investigation into allegations officials were bribed in domestic games.
Porto said in a statement they will appeal against the decision, which came following a lengthy probe known as Golden Whistle.
