Dimitar Berbatov will ruin Manchester United's team spirit, warns former Spurs coach

Dimitar Berbatov was yesterday branded "a big sulker" and "a loner" who will be on immediate collision course with Sir Alex Ferguson if he joins Manchester United.
Former Spurs goalkeeping coach Hans Segers also claimed the Bulgarian poisoned the atmosphere at White Hart Lane last season. Berbatov was dropped by Tottenham last weekend for being a negative influence in the dressing room after making public his "dream" to move to Old Trafford.
Manchester United have offered £25million but Tottenham are holding out for £30m for the sale of the striker..
Segers claimed people will be glad to see the back of Berbatov. "I would say he is a big sulker - that is probably the right word," said the Dutchman. "He doesn't pull his weight in training and that comes out in matches. He goes in silent sulks - he is quite a loner in that way.
"It's not easy to communicate with him and that is a shame because he is a very good player.
"But the way he doesn't pull his weight is not good for the team and not good for the club. I think it is the manager's nightmare.
"Martin Jol tried his utmost to get him on board but once he was in that mood, it was very difficult to change him.
"So wherever he goes, the manager will have a tough job with him. If he is going."
