Don't blame Dimitar Berbatov, says Jonathan Woodgate

Jonathan Woodgate has admitted Chelsea will "wipe the floor with us" if Spurs continue their dreadful early season form on Sunday. just like last year, Tottenham have lost their first two games of the season and this morning sit in 8th place in the Premier League.
Coach Juande Ramos has appealed for time for his new singings such as Luka Modric and Giovani to acclimatise into English football.
But the identical nature of their two losses to north-east clubs, where less talented teams have hassled Spurs to distraction, must be a worry to everyone at White Hart Lane with a trip to Stamford Bridge next on the fixture list.
"Two defeats is not good," Woodgate admitted. "The only thing we can look at is that we've got plenty of games to put it right.
"It wasn't a very good display. Sunderland did exactly what Middlesbrough did. They worked their socks off all over the pitch, put two banks of four behind the ball and played well.
"We go to Chelsea and we have to put a good performance on because they'll wipe the floor with us if we don't. They're a top side.
"Now we have to work really hard in training to put it right."
But the England defender said blaming the Berbatov saga for the club's poor form was "a load of bull***t".
He explained: "We've lost two games because we haven't played well.
"It's nothing to do with anyone else. It's about us, it's got nothing to do with him if we lost two games.
"It goes on in football. You've got to be professional and knuckle down until something happens.
"He's a Tottenham Hotspur footballer. Man United have come in with a bid but it's up to the chairman to do the right thing for the football club."
