Eden Hazard has revealed he would be keen on a move to Manchester United.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson revealed this week that he had been to Lille to watch the 21-year-old in action last month.
Speaking to French radio station RMC, Fergie said: “I was at the game and watched Hazard, as well as other players.
“That’s part of my job, looking at good players.
“Hazard is a very good player and has a lot of qualities. He’s particularly quick over the first 10 yards.”
Now Hazard has admitted he would be keen on a switch to Old Trafford.
He told Sky Sports: "I am flattered by the compliment coming from the top manager in world football.
"I did not know he was at the game to be honest but no one knew he came to watch me because I was not aware.
"Manchester United are a very top team and anyone would listen to them."
Midfielder Hazard is one of the most highly-rated players in Europe and a host of top clubs have been tracking him, including Arsenal and Manchester City.
He joined Lille in 2007 and has since played 187 times for the club, scoring 46 goals.
