Frimpong 'to be warned over T-shirt'

Emmanuel Frimpong is expected to be warned after breaking advertising rules by showing off a T-shirt with the slogan of his own clothing brand after Arsenal's Carling Cup defeat to Manchester City.

The combative youngster had taken off his shirt to reveal the T-shirt with 'DENCH' emblazoned on it when he had his public clash with former team-mate Samir Nasri. Frimpong and rapper Lethal Bizzle are co-owners of the Dench firm.

Players are not allowed to wear advertising that is not sanctioned by the FA and while Frimpong will escape official censure, he is expected to be told there must be no repeat of the incident.
